Campus Purchasing has Strategic Sourcing agreements with Castle Press, Taylor Communications and Typecraft to provide business cards, letterhead and envelopes to UCLA faculty, staff and Ph.D. candidates.
In addition, departments are encouraged to consider using UCLA Mail, Document & Distribution Services (MDDS) for business cards and other printing needs.
Departments can browse the vendors’ electronic catalogs, enter custom text, check online PDF proofs and order repeat-print items. Changes to the standard configurations will result in a custom order, which carries significantly higher pricing. Rush charges will be added for delivery within 10 days or less.
How to Order
- For UCLA Mail, Document & Distribution Services (MDDS) use your recharge ID (https://www.print.ucla.edu)
- For Castle Press, use BruinBuy - select Supplier Site Orders (www.bruinbuy.ucla.edu)
- For Standard Register orders, use SmartWorks (www.smartworks.com)
After receiving a valid purchase order with sufficient funds, Castle Press, Taylor Communications, Typecraft or MDDS will complete the work and deliver the printed items to your office.

Graduate students can order UCLA business cards only with prior approval from the Office of the VC of Administration. Requests can be submitted at marks.ucla.edu.
