As a part of the transition from legacy BruinBuy to BruinBuy Plus, certain Purchase Orders (POs) migrated to BruinBuy Plus when the system launched on January 2, 2024. Some POs will continue to migrate.
Which POs WILL Migrate?
POs that meet the following criteria will automatically transfer to BruinBuy Plus:
- All subaward and subcontract POs (e.g., G-class, S-class) where the last activity (e.g., change order, invoice payment) occurred within 18 months of January 2, 2024.
- Catalog vendor (EDI) POs.
- All POs (including A-class) where:
- The vendor is registered in PaymentWorks,
- The last activity (e.g., change order, invoice payment) occurred within 18 months of January 2, 2024,
- The remaining PO amount is greater than or equal to $1,000, and
- No open invoices exist.
Migration will occur on a rolling basis starting in December 2023.
NOTE: Migrated POs with inactive BruinBuy owners will be assigned to the associated department's most-active BruinBuy user.
Which POs WILL NOT Migrate?
POs falling under one of the following categories will NOT automatically transfer to BruinBuy Plus:
- POs with hold & incomplete (H&I) invoices (these POs may migrate if/when all H&I invoices have been cleared AND the above criteria are met).
The above category only applies to the December 2023 PO migration. All H&Is will be cleared by the 2024 migration.
- POs for one-time payees.
- Blanket (e.g., B-class, K-class) POs.
