A version of the below communication was sent to all BruinBuy Plus subaward owners on October 22.
We have identified a system error that is impacting new BruinBuy Plus subaward amendments.
What's Happening?
The error is causing subaward purchase orders to zeroize OR not reflect updated funding after an amendment change request is completed and approved.
We are actively working to fix this issue, and a temporary workaround is available.
How Does This Impact Me?
If you have one or more pending subaward change requests: These requests have not been centrally approved and can still be corrected. The Subaward team has / will be returning your change request(s). Once returned, please follow the below steps:
- Edit your returned change request(s) based on the new How to Amend a Subaward training guide.
- Submit your updated request(s) for approval.
- Until further notice, continue to utilize the workaround for all amendments.
If you are the owner of a subaward(s) but have not recently submitted a change request: No action is required. Follow the workaround instructions in the How to Amend a Subaward training guide if you need to submit an amendment prior to this issue being resolved.
