Quarterly System Update | NOW LIVE: New Form Design

Effective Monday, March 30, BruinBuy Plus forms now feature a streamlined design that mirrors that of other system transactions, including a Summary pane and standard approval workflow view. Training materials have been updated to reflect this new experience. 

The Check Request for Direct Pay Form screen shows an Instructions column on the left and a Summary page on the right.

 

REMINDER: As announced in July, form Discussion functionality is only monitored on the Subaward / Subcontract Amendment form. For all other forms, continue to communicate with UCLA Campus Purchasing & Payables via Comments

Office Hours | Updated AP Schedule

Based on session analytics and reduced question volume, we’re consolidating our weekly Accounts Payable (AP) office hours.

Starting the week of April 6, AP office hours will be held once a week on Thursdays (1 p.m. to 2 p.m. PT). Registration is now open!

View-Only Catalog | Dedicated Corp. Solutions

Dedicated Corporate Solutions (DCS) is an independently owned, minority business who has partnered with ODP Business Solutions (formerly Office Depot). Their BruinBuy Plus punchout catalog allows you to easily find and purchase the office supplies your department needs!

We understand that non-BruinBuy Plus users may also want to browse the DCS catalog, which is why a view-only version is available. Access instructions can be found in our DCS View-Only Catalog guide

NOTE: The view-only catalog password was recently updated.

Irregular Invoices | Upcoming Resolution Deadline

Irregular invoices with a hold date of March 1, 2026, through March 19, 2026, must be actioned by departments no later than end of day Friday, April 17.

If the necessary department action(s) is not taken by this deadline, impacted invoices may be rejected or pushed to payment. Additional information on how unactioned invoices are centrally addressed can be found on the Irregular Invoice Resolution Calendar web page.
